Customers can now pick up all of their online food and non-food purchases right next to where they live
Carrefour has partnered with Pickup, a subsidiary of La Poste, to launch a new service, Ecommerce News report.
This way, under the name Pickup Drive, customers of Carrefour can collect their online groceries and also pick up or drop off parcels.
The first Pickup Drive has already opened its doors in the 19th arrondissement of Paris last week. Meanwhile, several other Pickup Drives are set to open across major urban areas in France.
The new service allows Carrefour customers to pick up the orders they purchased at Carrefour.fr or via the Carrefour app. This is possible on the same day that they have placed their orders.
In addition, customers can collect their parcels from any of the over 8,000 e-commerce sites that offer Pickup as one of the delivery methods. And they can also drop off parcels that they want to be sent between two drop or off-pickup points as well as their online returns.
