With the holidays fast approaching, it is that time of year in which both you and your family get gifts for one another. Mom, sisters, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles et cetera. Still, one of the hardest people to shop a gift for has to be a dad.
Some fathers are easier than others to shop for. A lot of guys would be alright if their children just gave them a pair of socks and a 12-pack of beer. And although those are nice gifts, they may not get the message across about how much you really love dad.
Now, this is not to say that you should go out and buy one of these project homes for him (if you have the money sure). Nevertheless, there are a ton of nice presents that would get a big grin from dad without having to give him just a pair of socks. Here are a few examples!
Bobbleheads are fun little desk toys. And if your dad has a ton of junk on his desk, there is a good chance that a big-headed recreation of himself would be a welcome addition. Just remember how much Dwight Schrute loved his bobblehead gift in The Office! There is a good chance your father reacts similarly.
Make your own hot sauce kit
A lot of dads love cooking. Whether it be on the grill, smoker, or whatever. Getting the chance to create your own little masterpiece is always fun, and dad has to feel similarly. Still, it can be a pain in the neck to slave over the grill or wait 16 hours for the smoker to finish slowly roasting some meat.
So, instead of having dad do all that just to have a little food fun, why not get him a do it yourself hot sauce kit! Hot sauce can go on so many food items and could be a lot of fun making on your own. This gift would definitely be a good way to spice up the holidays for dad.
Don’t think UGGs are for guys? Think again. The company has been able to create some of the comfiest shoes in all of the lands. With its wool interior and sturdy structure, they are the best boots/shoes money can buy.
And if dad is a little bit hesitant at first, just remind him that six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady wears them. That will definitely change his attitude about this present.
It is actually a well-known fact that dads love to nap. Dads and napping are a better combination than peanut butter and jelly. Joking aside, the ostrich pillow would be a great gift for dad.
The pillow itself may look a little weird, but -like the website says- this cocoon-shaped pillow, “. . . helps block out light, and provide absolute comfort to disconnect from the world.” If that does not scream “dad would love this” who knows what does!
