I have never seen myself going to the center of Manila. I’m not a Manila girl nor do I feel comfortable in places that are crowded. That being said, the girlfriend and I are fortunate to find a cozy bed and breakfast where travelers and staycationers can kick back and relax amidst the hustle and bustle of Manila.
Located at the center of the Malate tourist belt of Manila, La Scala Residences is a landmark that bears sentimental identity of old Manila with the amenities of modern living. Designed for homey comfort, each room is equipped with quality linens, hot & cold shower, air-conditioning, cable television, spacious clothes cabinet, office desk, and digital safe.
The building has been home to the Go family since 1952. It also houses the La Scala Café on the mezzanine floor which features different memorabilia and vintage items that the owner had collected through the years.
The café is also available for friends and family that wants to have a private gathering. They have karaoke and function rooms that are available for guests and walk-in clients.
If you’re in the area and in dire need of a staycation, consider staying at La Scala Residences! Their accommodating and friendly staff will definitely make your stay worthwhile.
