Unlike others, Paris isn’t my dream destination. However, I can’t pass on a good plate of French cuisine nor a box of macarons.
When I visited Cebu for the first time, I’ve included La Vie Parisienne in one of the restaurants I must try. It’s also been highly recommended by a good friend and fellow blogger, Patricia Tan.
This restaurant not only offers some of the best French pastries, wines, and deli products in the entire country but also an authentic French experience – an experience that is as traditionally French as in a genuine Parisian bakery and deli shop.
Their interior features classic and sophisticated pieces that add up to the whole Parisian vibe.
Food
To be honest, there’s really nothing special about their food. One would think that their menu offerings can be seen elsewhere. Although to be fair, the food tastes good and is priced fairly. However, what I especially liked about La Vie Parisienne’s food is the plating and the added ambiance that you get while you enjoy your meal.
Once you get inside the bakery, you will see baked pastries well-displayed on the table. Bread dough of their pastries were prepared all the way in France and then baked at La Vie Parisienne. They also have a fine selection of macarons – it wouldn’t be a French restaurant without it, right?
They also have a wine cellar filled with fine choices of wine which they sell by the bottle.

Wow this place looks pretty amazing. I love French pastries. Went to Paris when I was 18 and have been thinking about going back ever since. Nice to know that there are local places that will give you a little taste of it without having to leave home. 🙂
