The Too Faced Shadow Bon Bons palette is something I’ve had for almost 6 months now and I am quite excited to share with you my thoughts about it just because it’s my very first palette from Too Faced.
PRODUCT CONSISTENCY (3/5)
I have to be honest, I expected a little bit too much from this palette mainly because I have been hearing so much hype about this brand. But unfortunately, the shadows itself are not pigmented enough for me. I felt that the colors lacked the ability to stand out.
On the bright side, I did love the fact that I didn’t experienced any fall outs – so props to that!
PRICE AND FREEBIES (5/5)
This palette retails for $42.00 and comes with:
- 12 sweetly named eye shadows
- full-size Lashgasm Mascara ($21.00 value)
- sample-sized tube of Candlelight Shadow Insurance (full-size value is $20.00)
With the freebies alone, the retail price of this palette is definitely reasonable.
The concept that they have put into designing this palette is pretty awesome! The palette’s name matches the overall color scheme and text font.
It comes with a box and the palette itself is covered in a velvety material (like that of UD’s Naked 1 palette). It has a big mirror inside, big enough for me to see my whole face.
However, being said that it is covered in a velvety material, I feel like it’s prone to getting dirty.
Sadly, this palette isn’t available here in the Philippines because Too Faced doesn’t have a store here. But, if you know of some online shops who carries this brand, you’ll be lucky to score one!
It is a great palette especially because of all the free items it comes with it. I can’t highly complain because the price I paid is worth it as compare to its real value.
It is a good collection piece but if you are in the look out in purchasing your first palette, I do not recommend this as a started palette mainly because of the shadow’s inability of being highly pigmented.
