I’m not the type of girl who goes gaga over flowers and chocolates. Although these 2 are really nice gifts to receive, I’d rather have my better half splurge on something I’ll cherish forever – like out-of-town trips or pigging out somewhere.
Since my girlfriend and I are saving up for something “big” this year, we’ve decided to just eat out last Valentine’s Day. I’ve always wanted to try out this restaurant called Puzzles so it was a perfect excuse for us to visit it.
We started our night with a simple meal since we had lunch that day at around 3:00PM, since it was a heavy meal, we weren’t that hungry during dinner time. We ordered a bacon cheese panini with wasabi chips, french fries, and milkshakes (vanilla for me and strawberry for the girlfriend).
When they found out that we were a couple, they gave us a free serving of deep fried Oreos with vanilla ice cream decorated with heart candies.
After eating, we’ve decided to play. Yes, P-L-A-Y! What’s special about Puzzles is that it’s not your typical restaurant. While you’re there, you can actually play board games for a minimal fee of Php100.00/person.
You could say things got pretty tense during that night since we’re a competitive couple.
Overall, it was a very fun day filled with good food, nerding out on board games and exchanges of little screams while we play board games. If you want to do something unique with your loved ones or just want to kill time on a weekend over good food, then definitely visit Puzzles: Board Game Lounge.
